Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an accomplished Technical Support Specialist to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Conduct method verification for all instrument purchase orders to ensure prompt system activation, meeting customer expectations efficiently
2) Execute lot conversions promptly, adhering to contract commitments for new reagents, either on-site or remotely, with a focus on using middleware accreditation tools to meet customer expectations
3) Collaborate within the team to address issues for internal and external customers related to instruments, reagents, and digital products, following the company's escalation SOP
4) Utilize materials provided by the Marketing Team for all of the company's product lines and competitors
5) Contact customers within the assigned territory, with an efficient transition of follow-ups to local teams for any travel to other territories
6) Utilize CRM to record customer activities in real-time for month-end reports
7) Review contacts with each account login
8) Submit proper paperwork for any changes to account name, address, or instrumentation to Sales Admin
9) Provide customers with the latest SOPs developed by training
10) Conduct on-site evaluations, demonstrations, and lectures as requested by customers
11) Generate leads for the Sales Team during technical calls and interactions with the existing client base to expand the current testing menu or upgrade instruments.
12) Offer appropriate telephone support
13) Undertake special projects as assigned by management
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in engineering
